FULL CIRCLE MENTORING
Empowering Youth, Strengthening Communities
At Full Circle Mentoring (FCM), we are dedicated to enriching the lives of youth and their families through a comprehensive approach that encompasses mentorship, education, advocacy, and service. Our work is currently focused on the Piedmont Park neighborhood in East Winston-Salem, NC. We are a proud member of the We Heal Together initiative and a subsidiary of Affinity Services.
MISSION
Empowering youth and families through comprehensive mentorship, education, advocacy, and service – our mission is to cultivate self-sufficient, culturally competent, educated leaders who can positively impact our community.
OUR WORK
FCM offers a range of programs designed to meet the diverse needs of our mentees and their families:
Rebuilding the Village
Engaging in community service projects instills a sense of responsibility and connection. These initiatives not only benefit the community but also reinforce our holistic approach by integrating service learning into the personal development of our mentees.
Mentorship
Pairing youth with caring, consistent mentors who guide, support, and encourage across the critical spaces of school, home, and community. This holistic approach ensures mentors can provide tailored support wherever it’s needed most.
Education
Beyond academic support, we implement intervention strategies to boost learning and achievement. Our focus is on ensuring students succeed in school by providing resources that cater to their individual needs.
Advocacy
Our advocates empower families to navigate the school system and other community systems effectively. They move seamlessly between school, home, and community settings to provide comprehensive support, ensuring families have the knowledge and resources to support their children’s education and well-being.
